Inua offers Coaching sessions designed around your unique situation. Whether you are acting as a caregiver or living with an advanced illness, Coaching sessions can support you with the following: 

  • Stress management: Gain tools to reduce burnout and care for your well-being.

  • Practical advice: Explore solutions for everyday challenges like medication management and communication with healthcare providers.

  • Resilience building: Learn strategies to maintain emotional balance and healthy boundaries.

  • Personalized support: Each session is tailored to your unique needs and situation.

  • Ongoing guidance: Inua's Coaching sessions are designed to be a continuous source of support. Whether you need a one-time session or regular check-ins, Inua is here to guide you every step of the way.

Best of all, you can choose to access coaching services in the format that works best for you! These sessions are 50 minutes long and are available in various formats. In-office, in-home, and community sessions are offered to those in Calgary and the surrounding area, while virtual sessions via video chat and telephone are available to individuals across Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Nunavut, Ontario, and Yukon.​

Movement sessions are also available to all clients - because sometimes fresh air and a long walk are the best medicine!

Please note: Virtual sessions are automatically scheduled as video sessions - if you prefer a telephone or movement session, simply send a quick email to support@inua.ca after booking to let me know!

Caregiver Coaching

Living with Illness Coaching

Inua's Living with Illness Coaching sessions are designed to support you through the complexities of living with long-term health conditions, offering personalized guidance and emotional support to help you live your best life.

Grief & Loss
Seminars

Inua ᐃᓄᐊ Counselling & Support Services is pleased to offer a variety of seminars focused on topics and experiences related to grief and loss. These seminars aim to provide information on topics such as types of loss, common physical and emotional symptoms, advice for seeking and/or providing support, and strategies for self-care.  Each seminar strives to normalize grief experiences and bring a level of comfort to discussions and expressions of grief.

Inua's grief seminars are perfect for groups of five or more, can be offered in-person or online, and will be tailored to suit your audience. As well, these seminars can be offered in any order as each session is independent of the others.

The Grief & Loss Series

This series of 60-minute seminars aims to provide information on various topics related to grief and loss, and is appropriate for anyone experiencing grief and for those looking to better understand the topics.

The series consists of the following six (6) non-consecutive seminars:

  • Grief: Losing a Loved One

  • Grief: Losing the Life We Knew

  • Grief: It's Okay to Not Be Okay

  • Grief: Providing Support

  • Grief: The First Year

  • Grief: Prioritizing Self-Care

This series can be booked by individual seminar(s) or as the full series.

When a Loved One Has Dementia 

This single 90-minute seminar is geared toward individuals and families who are impacted by a loved one's Dementia. 

This seminar aims to provide information on the various ways in which we can experience grief when a loved one is living with Dementia. Topics discussed in this seminar include types of losses, advice for seeking and/or providing support, healthy boundaries, and strategies for self-care.

 

This seminar hopes to open discussions of common struggles and to normalize the grief often experienced by the friends and families impacted by Dementia

Grief & Loss in the Workplace

This single 90-minute seminar was designed for those experiencing grief and loss in the workplace, such as staff working in Seniors Living communities or other support services that may experience the death of a client/patient, and anyone impacted by the death of a co-worker.

This seminar aims to provide information, support, and guidance, and covers topics such as types of losses, common physical and emotional symptoms, advice for seeking and/or providing support, healthy boundaries, and strategies for self-care.

 

This seminar hopes to open discussions of common struggles and to normalize the grief often experienced by staff and co-workers when someone dies.

Fees

  • In-office Coaching Session: $195 / 50 mins

  • In-home/Community Coaching Session$180 / 50 mins (includes movement sessions)

  • Virtual Coaching Session$165 / 50 mins (includes video, phone, and movement sessions)

Direct Billing

Many health benefit plans offer coverage for services provided by a social worker, and direct billing is available for many insurance providers.

Please ensure that your benefit plan provides coverage for BSW-level services! It is your responsibility to confirm this prior to scheduling your appointment.​

Cancellation Policy

All appointment changes and cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to avoid fees.

Late cancellations and No-shows will result in a charge equal to 50% of your regular service charge.

Special Circumstances

Inua recognizes that access to a comprehensive health benefit plan is privileged.

Inua offers special pricing for FSCD parents, unpaid caregivers of PDD recipients, some exact-reimbursement pricing plans, and a limited number of sliding-scale spots.
